Puente de la Reina to Lorca - Day 3

Sick as a dog.  Rain and sun.  New route to Maneru.  Post last of warm clothing forward, leave late in order to go to post office.  Nose running like a faucet.  Fried-gg sandwich in Maneru, which gets all over my face just as a man passes by me and says something to me (flirting, I think), and I bite into the sandwich.  He returns a few moments later with a substantial paper towel to give me.  Starts raining as soon as I leave town.  Roman route hard on the feet.  Climbing out of Ciraque difficult.  Some sorta wedding or party near exit, albergue.  Beg for a room to myself, I haven't slept in three days and I'm really sick.  Sick all night.  Eva from Germany gives me medicine.  Food is good.  Feel like a walking contagion.  Family-style dinner. (Later someone tells me that they think it was the first night the albergue was open, the other one was still closed for the season.  My lucky day, I guess.)

13.2 kms.
